Position: WordPress Developer (with Plugin Development)
Roles & Responsibilities
WordPress Development
- Design, develop, and manage custom WordPress websites.
- Customize existing themes and create custom themes from scratch if needed.
- Install, configure, and optimize plugins for functionality and performance.
- Develop custom plugins based on project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress sites to ensure performance and security.
Plugin Development
- Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
- Ensure plugins follow WordPress coding standards and are secure, optimized, and scalable.
- Handle integration of third-party APIs and services into plugins (e.g., payment gateways).
- Maintain plugin documentation and provide support for any plugin-related issues.
Front-End Development
- Develop clean, responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Work with design tools (Figma, XD, PSD) to convert designs into WordPress templates.

General Responsibilities
- Work closely with design, content, and backend teams to deliver projects on time.
- Participate in regular code reviews and adhere to best development practices.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and updates in the WordPress ecosystem.
- Maintain proper documentation for all work and deliverables.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress Core, Themes, Plugins
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience with plugin development and custom post types
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Version control using Git
- Basic knowledge of SEO, security, and accessibility standards
- Maintain proper documentation for all work and deliverables.
